About Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi Motor is known as Mitsubishi. It is a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer. It is headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It was the 19th-largest producer worldwide in 2011. During the war, it manufactured military aircraft. After WWII, Mitsubishi returned to make vehicles. It introduced a new small three-wheeled cargo vehicle. It's called Mizushima. It aims to expand its market in the 1970s. Its annual production reached 1 million in 1980. It entered the American market for the first time in 1982. Mitsubishi went public in 1988. It was not privately held anymore. Its domestic market share increased to 11.6% in 1995. In summer 2009, it sold its i MiEV. It is an all-electric minicar. It installed a lithium-ion battery pack tucked under its floor. Its classic models include Lancer 1600 GSR, Eclipse, and Galant VR-4. These all have good performance.
