About Mitsubishi Expo LRV
The Mitsubishi Expo LRV was manufactured by Mitsubishi, a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer. It was the name under which the first generation Mitsubishi RVR was marketed in the United States. It was a compact Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV). The body style was the 4-door wagon. It debuted in February 1991 and was on sale at Mitsubishi dealerships. The production started in 1991 and ended four years later in North America.
At its launch, the Expo LRV was 4290–4480 mm (168.9–176.4 in) in length, 1695–1740 mm (66.7–68.5 in) in width, and 1625-1730 mm (64.0-68.1 in) in height. The car seated five. It was offered in several trim levels of different auto parts. The buyers can choose either the FWD or the AWD version. The standard engine was a 2.64-liter G64. It delivered a power of 101kW with a fuel displacement of 2351 cc. The 1.8 G93 was also available. The diesel engines were provided later. The Expo LRV had reliable parts and accessories. The rear windows did not retract but were forward hinged. The third row of the seats could be folded forward. It could also be folded up towards the front seats to allow space for large items. Its tall wagon body style offered high seating positions. These details in the interior together contributed to a comfortable sitting and ride. It was equipped with a single rear door and one sliding door on the passenger side latched to the "B" pillar. The mechanism control of the automatic transmission shift lock made the car unaffected by the battery.
Though it has a modest sale, the Mitsubishi Expo LRV has received much acclaim from its users, thanks to its quality parts and accessories and comfortable interior. A variety of aftermarket parts and accessories for the Expo LRV are available in the online stores. The drivers may replace the old ones to keep their cars in a good condition.
