Q: How do you remove the IAC valve?
A:
You need to disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve harness connector, and remove the IAC valve attaching fasteners, the IAC valve assembly, and the O-ring. Clean the IAC valve O-ring sealing surface, the pintle valve seat, and the air passage. Then inspect the IAC valve O-ring for cuts, cracks, or distortion and replace it if damaged.
