The latter was its first passenger car. In the 1940s, it created other lines of automobiles, such as a pickup truck. And it continues to make auto parts. After World War II, it started to learn from American automobile manufacturers and other associations. The first fully-fledged passenger car of the brand, the Crown, went on sale in August 1955, and it received great reviews from all over the globe. And it was also the first Toyota sedan introduced to the American market. In the 1960s, it benefited from Japan's rapid economic growth. It sold vehicles to the growing middle class. With the help of the growing economy, it also became an international automaker.

At that time, it also set up several bases in the UK, China, and the US. It also produces genuine Toyota parts. In 1997, Toyota began to develop and sell fuel-efficient hybrid cars. The Toyota Prius is one of them. After 2000, the car was introduced to the US market. Now, it sells over 40 hybrid vehicle models all over the globe. Nowadays, it remains hugely popular because of its quality and reliability. Its current lineup is relatively broad, including trucks, cars, and SUVs. And it began to develop its new fuel cell and electric light trucks. Also, it still develops and sells OEM parts all over the world.
