You can install the J 42640, remove the left wheelhouse liner, raise the vehicle, remove the catalytic converter to Exhaust Manifold nuts, lower the vehicle part way, remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs and the ignition coils, mark the relationship of the upper intermediate steering shaft to the steering column, remove the steering shaft coupling bolt and nut, separate the upper intermediate steering shaft from the steering column, remove the exhaust manifold bolts and exhaust manifold, remove and discard the exhaust manifold gasket, remove and discard the catalytic converter seal and remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and shield.

You can raise the vehicle, remove the spare tire, install adjustable jack stands, remove the rear axle vent hose, remove the vent hose swivel clip from the rear brake crossover pipe, remove the rear shock absorber lower bolts and nuts, lower the rear axle, remove the exhaust Muffler to exhaust manifold pipe nuts, loosen the exhaust muffler clamp, remove the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S), lubricate the 4 insulators where the muffler assembly hangers are inserted, remove the insulators and remove the muffler assembly.

The procedure is to remove the turbocharger Exhaust Pipe, the transmission, the exhaust heat shield nuts, the heat shield, the exhaust pipe heat shield bolts and shield, the exhaust pipe bolts, the exhaust pipe, and the gaskets.
