You can raise the vehicle, remove the spare tire, install adjustable jack stands, remove the rear axle vent hose, remove the vent hose swivel clip from the rear brake crossover pipe, remove the rear shock absorber lower bolts and nuts, lower the rear axle, remove the exhaust muffler to exhaust manifold pipe nuts, loosen the exhaust muffler clamp, remove the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S), lubricate the 4 insulators where the muffler assembly hangers are inserted, remove the insulators and remove the muffler assembly.

You can tighten the nuts to 45 Nm (33 lb-ft).
