Q: How do you install the Crankshaft Balancer?
A:
You need to install the EN 46106 onto the flywheel, install the crankshaft balancer, apply lubricant to the inside of the crankshaft balancer hub bore, place the crankshaft balancer in position on the crankshaft, thread the J 41998-B in the crankshaft, push the crankshaft balancer into position, remove the J 41998-B, install the crankshaft balancer bolt, tighten the crankshaft balancer bolt, remove the EN 46106, install the starter, raise the engine into position, install the engine mount strut bracket and the drive belt, and then perform the crankshaft position system variation learn procedure.

Q: How do you remove the Crankshaft Balancer?
A:
You need to remove the engine mount strut bracket, the drive belt, and the starter, install the EN 46106 through the starter mounting hole, lower the engine approximately two inches, remove the crankshaft balancer bolt, install the J 38416-2 in the nose of the crankshaft and the J 41816, tighten the center bolt of the J 41816, and then remove the J 41816 from the crankshaft balancer.
