FAQ for Camber and Alignment Kit Repair

Q: What is the removal procedure for the Front Camber?
A:
Raise the vehicle and provide suitable support, remove the tire and wheel assemblies, remove the strut, place the strut in a vise, and file the lower strut-to-knuckle attaching hole for a front camber adjustment.

Q: What should be done before measuring the trim heights?
A:
Set the tire pressures to the pressure shown on the certification label. Check the fuel level. Add additional weight if necessary to simulate a full tank. Make sure the rear compartment is empty except for the spare tire. Make sure the vehicle is on a level surface, such as an alignment rack. Close the doors. Close the hood. All dimensions are measured vertically to the ground. Trim heights should be within 13 mm (0.5 inches) to be considered correct.
