I am looking at Locking Gas Cap, Mopar Part No.: 5278655AB for my 2003 Jeep grand Cherokee. My question is regarding emissions standards to this gas cap. On the webpage, it says "the design features sturdy construction to meet Federal Fuel Safety Standards for fuel leakage". I live in California and need one that will meet California emissions standards. Does this gas cap meet both federal and California emissions standards?... ...Or is there another standard used for California emissions?
