2010 Chevrolet Express 3500 Muffler

You can install the muffler assembly from the front of the vehicle by lifting over the rear axle, the muffler assembly hanger pins to the exhaust hanger insulators, the retaining nuts, and a new gasket to the front of the muffler if equipped with a three-way catalytic converter, the right catalytic converter in the muffler if equipped with dual catalytic converter pipes and a new gasket and the nuts retaining the left catalytic converter to the muffler flange, and then lower the vehicle.

The procedure is to raise the vehicle, remove the nuts retaining the catalytic converter pipe from the muffler flange if equipped with a three-way catalytic converter pipe, loosen the clamp for the right catalytic converter if equipped with dual catalytic converter pipes, and then remove the nuts retaining the left catalytic converter to the muffler flange, the muffler assembly hanger pins from the exhaust hanger insulators and the muffler assembly.
