The procedure is to raise and support the hood, remove the cable from the hood latch and the cable from the retainer on the radiator support, push the cable and the grommet into the cab from the engine compartment, and then remove the left-side hinge pillar trim panel from the body, the screws retaining the cable handle to the body, the handle from the body and the cable from the vehicle.

Q: How do you install the hood primary latch release cable?
A:
You can install the cable to the vehicle, route the cable from the cabin into the engine compartment, install the cable grommet into the bulkhead, the cable handle to the body, the screws to retain the cable handle to the body, the left side hinge pillar trim panel to the body, the cable to the retainer on the radiator support and the cable to the hood latch, and then close the hood.
