The procedure is to install the upper control arm, the upper control arm bolts, and the upper control arm nuts, connect the upper control arm to the steering knuckle, install the new upper ball joint retaining nut, the wheel drive shaft (4WD only), the retaining bolts for the brake hose and wheel speed sensor brackets and the tire and wheel, remove the safety stands, lower the vehicle, and then check the wheel alignment.

A:
You need to raise and support the vehicle, support the lower control arm with a jack stand, remove the tire and wheel, the retaining bolts for the brake hose and the wheel speed sensor brackets, and the wheel drive shaft (4WD only), discard the upper ball joint retaining nut, disconnect the upper control arm from the steering knuckle, and then remove the upper control arm nuts and the adjustment cams, the upper control arm bolts, and the upper control arm.
