The procedure is to raise and support the vehicle, ensure the vehicle is level, inspect the rear axle for leaks, clean the area around the rear axle fill plug, remove the rear axle fill plug, inspect the lubricant level, add lubricant until the level is even with the bottom edge of the fill plug opening, install the rear axle fill plug and tighten to 33 Nm (24 lb-ft), and then lower the vehicle.

The procedure is to raise and support the vehicle, make sure the vehicle is level, clean the area around the rear axle fill plug, remove the rear axle fill plug 1 and inspect the lubricant level, install the rear axle fill plug 1 and tighten to 33 Nm (24 lb-ft), and then remove the support and lower the vehicle.

The procedure is to remove the front differential carrier shield, clean the area around the front axle fill plug and the drain plug, remove the fill plug, remove the drain plug, and then drain the fluid from the front differential carrier assembly.

The proper way is to install the rear axle cover, fill the rear axle with axle lubricant, install the rear axle fill plug and tighten it to 33 Nm (24 lb-ft), and then lower the vehicle.
