The procedure is to remove the oil pump and the starter motor, install the J 42386-A and bolts, rotate the crankshaft, remove the camshaft sprocket bolt, remove the camshaft sprocket and timing chain, remove the timing chain tension bolts and tensioner, remove the crankshaft sprocket and remove the crankshaft sprocket key.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the Timing Chain, Crankshaft Sprocket, Camshaft Position Actuator, and Solenoid Valve?
A:
The procedure is to remove the oil pump and the starter motor, install the J 42386-A and bolts, rotate the crankshaft sprocket, remove and discard the CMP actuator solenoid valve, remove the CMP actuator and timing chain, loosen and separate the CMP actuator and timing chain from the camshaft, insert and secure a tie strap through the center of the actuator and over the reluctor wheel, remove the timing chain tension bolts and tensioner, remove the crankshaft sprocket and remove the crankshaft sprocket key.

Q: How do you install the Camshaft Timing Chain and Sprocket?
A:
You can install the key, tap the key into the keyway, install the crankshaft sprocket, compress the timing chain tensioner guide, install the EN 46330, install the timing chain tensioner and bolts, position the camshaft sprocket, install the camshaft sprocket, timing chain, and bolt, inspect the sprockets for proper alignment, remove the EN 46330, tighten the camshaft sprocket bolt, remove the J 42386-A and bolts, install the starter motor and install the oil pump.
