You can lubricate the Valve Lifters and engine block valve lifter bores with clean engine oil, insert the valve lifters into the lifter guides, install the valve lifters and guide, install the valve lifter guide bolts and install the cylinder head and gasket.

You can lubricate the Rocker Arms, the pushrods, and the flange of the rocker arm bolts with clean engine oil, install the rocker arm pivot support, the pushrods, the rocker arms, and bolts, rotate the crankshaft, tighten the rocker arm bolts, rotate the crankshaft 360 degrees, tighten the rocker arm bolts, install the number one cylinder spark plug and install the rocker arm cover.

You can clean the cylinder head valve spring seat area, lubricate the valve guide and Valve Stem Oil Seal, install the valves, the valve stem oil seal, the valve spring, and the valve spring cap, compress the valve spring, install the valve keys, remove the J 22794, hand start the spark plug, install the spark plug wires at the ignition coil, install the spark plug wire to the spark plug, inspect the wires and install the rocker arm.
