Q: How do you replace the Engine Oil and Oil Filter?
A:
You can open the hood, remove the oil fill cap, raise the vehicle, place an oil drain pan under the oil pan drain plug, remove the oil pan drain plug, drain the oil, clean and inspect the oil pan drain plug, clean and inspect the oil pan sealing surface, wipe any remaining oil from the drain plug hole, reinstall the oil pan drain plug, position the drain pan under the Oil Filter, remove the oil filter and remove the oil filter gasket.
Q: How do you install the oil filter adapter?
A:
You can install the Oil Filter Adapter, lubricate the oil filter seal with clean engine oil, install the oil filter, install the 2 front oil pan skid plate bolts (for 2500 series vehicles), install the oil pan skid plate bolts (for 1500 series vehicles), lower the vehicle, refill the engine oil, start the engine and inspect for leaks.
