You can install the Pitman Arm onto the steering gear, install a new pitman arm washer and nut, remove the steering gear from the vise, install the steering gear and adjust the front toe.

The procedure is to remove the engine shield, the steering linkage shock absorber, the steering linkage outer tie rods, and the idler arm nut, separate the idler arm from the relay rod, remove the pitman arm nut, separate the pitman arm from the relay rod, remove the relay rod and inspect the threads and seals on all steering related components.

The procedure is to remove the steering gear boot, place a pipe wrench on the steering gear rack next to the steering linkage inner tie rod housing, place a wrench on the flats of the steering linkage inner tie rod housing and rotate the steering linkage inner tie rod housing counterclockwise.
