You can install the pitman arm onto the steering gear, install a new pitman arm washer and nut, remove the steering gear from the vise, install the steering gear and adjust the front toe.

You can remove the steering gear, place the steering gear into a vise, remove the pitman arm nut and washer and remove the pitman arm from the pitman arm shaft.
