2009 Chevrolet Equinox Parking Brake Cable

First, install the front park brake cable to the park brake lever. Next, install the rear cable to the cable equalizer and adjust the park brake cable tension. After that install the front floor console and enable the SIR system.

First, install the park brake cable in the mounting bracket. Next, install the rear tire and wheel assembly. After that, install the park brake cable retaining bracket to the rear suspension lower trailing arm, install the bolt to the park brake and tighten to 12 Nm. Install the park brake cable to the underbody retainer, install the bolt to the park brake cable retainer and tighten the bolt to 25 Nm. Finally, install the cable end to the equalizer, and install the rear carpet retainers and the front floor console.
