Position the hood release cable to the vehicle and install the hood release cable grommet to the front of the dash panel. Next, install the screws securing the hood release handle to the vehicle and tighten to 2 Nm. After that install the hood release cable to the clips retaining the cable to the vehicle. Connect the hood release cable to the hood latch and install all related panels/components.
