Q: How do you remove the Engine Oil and Oil Filter?
A:
You should raise and support the vehicle. for 1500 series vehicles, remove the oil pan skid plate bolts and skid plate, if equipped. for 2500 series vehicles, loosen the 2 rear oil pan skid plate bolts, remove the 2 front oil pan skid plate bolts and skid plate, if equipped. place a suitable drain pan under the Oil Filter, remove the oil filter and remove the oil filter adapter.
Q: What should be noticed in the Oxygen Sensor Service?
A:
You should handle the Oxygen Sensors carefully to prevent damage to the component, keep the electrical connector and the exhaust inlet end free of contaminants, and avoid using cleaning solvents on the sensor and dropping or mishandling the sensor.
Q: How do you install the Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rod?
A:
You can lubricate the rocker arms and Pushrods with clean engine oil, lubricate the flange of the rocker arm bolts with clean engine oil, install the rocker arm pivot support, install the pushrods, install the rocker arms and bolts, rotate the crankshaft, install the number one cylinder spark plug and install the rocker arm cover.
