Next, you should disconnect the connector from the component, locate the dress cover locking tabs at the corners of the dress cover, and slide the terminal position assurance (TPA) up one notch on both ends of the connector. Finally, you should pull the wire out of the back of the connector.

First, you should remove the connector, locate the connector position assurance (CPA) on the top of the wire dress cover, slide the lever lock forward, and disconnect the connector from the component. Next, you should locate the dress cover locking tabs at the corners of the dress cover, release the locking tabs, and remove the dress cover. In addition, you should release the rear lower half of the wire dress cover and remove the nosepiece. Finally, you should release the terminals and pull the wire out of the back of the connector.
