2008 Cadillac SRX A/C Hose

You should recover the A/C system, raise and support the vehicle, remove the engine exhaust and the auxiliary rear liquid line nut from the auxiliary evaporator, disconnect the auxiliary rear liquid line from the auxiliary evaporator, loosen the auxiliary rear liquid line to the auxiliary front liquid line fitting and remove the auxiliary rear liquid line from the body retainers, the auxiliary rear liquid line from the vehicle and the O-rings from the auxiliary rear liquid line.

You should inspect the A/C quick connect fitting locking tab for damage or wear, install the A/C quick connect fitting to the A/C refrigerant component, close the A/C quick connect fitting, evacuate and recharge the A/C system, and leak test the fittings of the component using J 39400-A.

You should recover the refrigerant from the A/C system, locate the A/C quick connect fitting locking tab access slots, carefully insert J 45689 into the locking tab access slots, gently press down on the locking tab until the quick connect fitting locking tab releases and open and remove the quick connect fitting from the A/C refrigerant component.

You should recover the refrigerant, remove the air cleaner intake duct and the quick connect fitting at the condenser tube, disconnect the condenser tube from the radiator mounting clip and the condenser tube from the A/C liquid line, remove and discard the O-rings on the A/C liquid line, raise and support the vehicle, remove the front air deflector retainers, the front air deflector, and the condenser tube bolt, disconnect the condenser tube from the condenser, remove and discard the O-ring, disconnect the high-pressure sensor electrical connector and remove the condenser tube and the high-pressure sensor.

You should recover the A/C system, raise and support the vehicle, remove the auxiliary front discharge line to the front discharge line quick connect fitting, disconnect the auxiliary front discharge line from the front discharge line, loosen the auxiliary front discharge line to auxiliary rear discharge line fitting, disconnect the auxiliary front discharge line from the auxiliary rear discharge line and the auxiliary front discharge line from the body retainers, remove the auxiliary front discharge line from the vehicle and remove and discard the O-rings from the auxiliary front discharge line.
