2008 Cadillac DTS Vehicle Speed Sensors

You may need to install the vehicle speed sensor and the retaining bolt and tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in), install a new O-ring seal on the sensor if necessary, install the electrical connector at the sensor, install the bolts securing the front transaxle brace to the transaxle and right cylinder head, then lower the vehicle finally.

You will need to raise the vehicle, remove the bolts securing the front transaxle brace to the transaxle and right cylinder head, remove the electrical connector at the vehicle speed sensor, and remove the retaining bolt and the sensor. You can twist the sensor while pulling outward will aid in removal.
