Q: What's the tip for replacing the transmission control module (TCM)?
A:
You may disconnect the TCM electrical connector. A new TCM requires programming. And it is recommended that transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information be reset. What's more, twisting or tilting the transmission control module electrical connector while disconnecting may result in bent or misaligned electrical terminal pine.
