2008 Cadillac CTS Oil Dipstick Tube

First, you need to remove the front compartment sight shield and remove the oil level indicator from the oil level indicator tube. Then, please remove the oil level indicator tube bolt, raise the vehicle, remove the knock sensor and remove the heat shield clip from the oil level indicator tube. Finally, you should lower the vehicle and remove the oil level indicator tube up through the exhaust manifold. If you are replacing only the oil level indicator tube seal, you should remove and discard the old seal.

First, you need to install the oil level indicator and tube. Then, please install the engine splash shield. Finally, you should lower the vehicle and install the front compartment sight shield.
