Q: How to remove the Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose/Pipe (LY7) VIN 7 W/O Direct Fuel Injection?
A:
First, you need to drain the cooling system and position J 38185 to the clamp to remove the outlet hose from the surge tank. Then, please loosen the bolt on the bracket which secures the surge tank outlet hose to the engine, and remove the windshield wiper transmission. Finally, you should position J 38185 to the clamp to remove the surge tank outlet hose from the thermostat assembly and remove the surge tank outlet hose/pipe from the engine.

Finally, you should position J 38185 to the clamp to connect the outlet hose to the surge tank and fill the cooling system.
