Q: How to remove the Engine Coolant Thermostat (LY7, LLT)?
A:
First, you need to partially drain the cooling system, remove the upper intake manifold, and disconnect the surge tank outlet pipe from the thermostat. Then, please remove the coolant pipe/thermostat housing bolt, the coolant pipe upper bolt, and the coolant inlet pipe from the thermostat. Finally, you should remove the thermostat bolts, remove the thermostat and discard the thermostat seal.

Q: How to install the Engine Coolant Thermostat (LY7, LLT)?
A:
First, you need to install the thermostat with a new thermostat seal, install the thermostat bolts, and install the coolant pipe, new seal, and fasteners. Then, please connect the surge tank outlet pipe to the thermostat. Finally, you should install the upper intake manifold and fill the cooling system.
