Q: How do you remove the Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Bracket?
A:
You can remove the fuel injector sight shield, the right side engine mount strut bracket, and as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible, place drain pans under the vehicle as needed, disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose and the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose, remove the remote power steering fluid reservoir bracket bolts and the remote power steering fluid reservoir bracket, and then transfer any parts as needed.

Q: How do you bleed the Power Steering System?
A:
You need to fill the pump reservoir with fluid to the minimum system level, full cold level, or middle of hash mark on the cap stick fluid level indicator, raise the vehicle until the front wheels are off the ground, start the engine and turn the steering wheel from stop to stop 4 times, verify power steering fluid level per operating specification, rotate steering wheel from left to right another 8 times, check for signs of cavitation or fluid aeration (pump noise/whining), and then verify the fluid level.

You need to remove the fuel injector sight shield and as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible, place drain pans under the vehicle as needed, compress the power steering reservoir inlet hose clamp and disconnect the hose from the remote power steering fluid reservoir, compress the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose clamp and disconnect the hose from the remote power steering fluid reservoir, and then remove the remote power steering fluid reservoir bolts and the remote power steering fluid reservoir.

A:
You can install the remote power steering fluid reservoir bracket and the remote power steering fluid reservoir bracket bolts, connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose and the power steering reservoir inlet hose, clean all excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans, install the right side engine mount strut bracket, fill and bleed the power steering system, and then install the fuel injector sight shield.

You need to install the remote power steering fluid reservoir and the remote power steering fluid reservoir bolts, connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose and clamp and the power steering reservoir inlet hose and clamp, clean all excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans, fill and bleed the power steering system, and then install the fuel injector sight shield.
