Q: How do you install the fuel sender assembly?
A:
First position the new fuel sender O-ring seal onto the fuel tank, install the fuel sender into the fuel tank, and position the lock ring onto the fuel tank. Next, install the fuel sender lock ring, connect the fuel line and the EVAP lines to the sender and install the fuel tank.

07/04/2022Q: What is the removal procedure for the fuel sender assembly?
A:
First, remove the fuel tank, disconnect the evaporative emission lines and the fuel line and reposition the fuel feed and EVAP lines. Next, unlock the fuel sender lock ring, remove the fuel sender and the fuel sender O-ring seal and inspect the fuel sender assembly O-ring seal sealing surfaces. Finally, place the lock rig on a flat surface and check the warpage for replacement.
