2007 Buick Rendezvous Cooling Fan Motor

You need to remove the air cleaner, the duct assembly, the cooling fan harness electrical connector, and the right-side diagonal brace. Then you can loosen the engine mount strut nuts. After that, you can remove the engine mount strut bracket brace bolts, the upper radiator hose, the radiator upper mount bolts, the radiator upper mounts, and the cooling fan shroud bolts. Next, you can reposition the coolant overflow hose clamp and disconnect the coolant overflow hose. After raising the vehicle, you can disconnect the lines from the fan module retainer clip, lower the vehicle, disconnect the engine wiring harness retainers, and reposition the engine wiring harness. Then you need to remove the cooling fans with the cooling fan shroud.

After turning the ignition off, you can remove the cooling fan, the shroud assembly, the cooling fan nut, and the cooling fan. After disconnecting the electrical connector, you need to remove the screws and the cooling fan motor.

You need to install the cooling fan motor and the screws. You can tighten the screws to 6 N.m. Then you can connect the electrical connector to the cooling fan motor, and install the cooling fan and the cooling fan nut. You need to tighten the nut to 6 N.m. Then you can install the cooling fan and shroud assembly.
