You should remove the adjusting nut for the parking brake, the front park brake cable from the equalizer, the right park brake cable from the equalizer, the right park brake cable from the retainer on the left frame rail, short wheelbase, the retaining bolt for the right park brake cable, the right park brake cable from the retainer on the left frame rail, long wheelbase, the retaining bolt for the park brake cable, the park brake cable from the cross member, the right park brake cable retaining bolts from the right rear frame rail, the retaining nut at the right rear spring bracket, the park brake cable from the retaining bracket, the rear brakes shoes, the park brake cable, and the Parking Brake Cable from the backing plate.

You should install the Power Steering Hose assembly to the vehicle, install the power steering hose assembly to the power steering gear bolt and the power steering hose assembly clip retaining bolts, and remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.

You should remove the tire and wheel, the wheel drive shaft nut, the brake caliper bracket, the upper control arm retaining nuts from the ball joint studs, the lower control arm retaining nut, the Steering Knuckle assembly from the vehicle, and set on a bench, the ball joint using the J 6627-A and the wheel hub and bearing assembly.
