Q: What is the removal procedure for the stop lamp switch?
A:
The procedure is to remove the lower I/P trim insulator screw and the lower I/P trim insulator, disconnect the electrical connections, rotate the stop lamp switch counterclockwise, pull the stop lamp switch rearward and remove the stop lamp switch.

Q: How do you install the stop lamp switch?
A:
You can install the stop lamp switch, push the stop lamp switch into the retainer, rotate the stop lamp switch, and ensure the minimum plunger extension is not less than 0.0 mm (0.0 in), and not greater than 2.0 mm (0.78 in) between the stop lamp switch barrel and the brake pedal, connect the electrical connectors, install the lower I/P trim insulator and install the lower I/P trim insulator screw.
