You should raise the vehicle, remove the front propeller shaft and the dust shield from the front output shaft, lightly tap the screwdriver around the edge of the front output shaft seal, pry the front out shaft seal from the transfer case and remove the front output shaft seal from the transfer case.

You should install the J45236 on the front output shaft, align the front output shaft seal on the J45236-2, use the J45236-1 to install the front output shaft seal, remove the J45236-1 and the J45236-2, install the dust shield on the front output shaft and the front propeller shaft, inspect the transfer case fluid level and lower the vehicle.

Q: How to remove the Transfer Case Output Shaft Seal - Rear?
A:
You should raise the vehicle, remove the rear propeller shaft and the rear output shaft seal, inspect the rear output shaft bushing for scoring or wear, use the J45380, install the finger section of the J45380 in front of the bushing and the tube, and forcing screw to the finger section, ensure the forcing screw is backed out and use a wrench on the forcing screw to remove the rear output shaft bushing.
