You should connect and power up the scan tool to the vehicle, select the service programming feature and the appropriate vehicle, press the request info button, disconnect the scan tool from the vehicle and to the computer station, follow the menu select items, select °vehicle° from the selection menu, transfer the data file to the scan tool, reconnect the scan tool to the vehicle, turn on the ignition, with the engine off, select the service programming feature on the scan tool and press the program button on the scan tool.

Q: How to remove the Transfer Case Shift Control Module?
A:
The access panel is removed to visually see the electrical connectors and the location of the transfer case control module and it will also be easier to see the mounting and alignment slots for the transfer case control module mounting bracket. Then, you should remove the access panel, the left side closeout/insulator panel, and the transfer case control module and mounting bracket from the instrument panel mag beam, disconnect the 3 electrical connectors from the transfer case control module, and remove the transfer case control module from the mounting bracket.

If the transfer case shift control module fails to program, you should ensure that the transfer case shift control module connection is, inspect for the latest software version, and attempt to program the transfer case shift control module.
