FAQ for Third Brake Light Repair

Q: How to remove the High Mounted Stop Lamp?
A:
You should open the liftgate, lower the rear portion of the headliner by releasing the 2 headliner retaining pins, disconnect the high-mount stop lamp electrical connector, remove the grommet from the body and close the liftgate. After that, you should open the liftgate window and remove the 2 screws that retain the high-mount stop lamp to the lift gate window reveal molding and the high-mount stop lamp from the vehicle.
