Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the off or lock position, and all electrical loads must be off before servicing any electrical component. You should disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal and failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

You should install the generator and secure the generator with 3 bolts, tighten the generator bolts, connect the battery positive cable to the generator and secure the positive cable with the nut, tighten the generator positive cable nut, install the engine lift hook, secure the lift hook with 2 bolts, tighten the bolts, install the A/C line bracket to the lift hook, secure the bracket with the bolt, tighten the A/C line bracket bolt, install the drive belt and connect the battery negative cable.
