2005 Buick LeSabre Rocker Arm

You should remove the valve rocker arm cover, remove the valve rocker arm pedestal retaining bolts, remove the pedestal, remove the rocker arm assembly, remove the pushrods, clean the bolts of all thread adhesive, and clean and inspect the valve rocker arms and pushrods.

You should install the pushrods, install the valve rocker arm assembly, install the pedestal, apply GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) Threadlocker compound or equivalent to the valve rocker arm bolt threads, install the valve rocker arm pedestal retaining bolts, install the left valve rocker arm cover, install the right valve rocker arm cover and listen for valve train noise.
