Q: How do you remove the Oil Filter and Seal?
A:
You need to remove the oil pan and the gasket, the filter, and the lip ring seal pressed into the case only if replacement is necessary and inspect the oil pan and the filter for the following foreign material: metal particles, clutch facing material, rubber particles, and engine coolant. Then you can determine the source of the contamination if foreign material is evident and correct the source of the contamination.

A:
You need to position the drain pan under the transaxle, remove the lower radiator air deflector, disconnect the transmission oil cooler line from the quick connect fitting, remove the retaining bracket bolt from the transaxle oil cooler hose/pipe retaining bracket, the oil cooler pipes from the oil cooler fittings, the oil cooler pipes from the fittings at the radiator, the oil cooler hose/pipes from the retaining clip and the oil cooler hose/pipes from the vehicle.
Q: How do you remove the Automatic Transmission Radiator Oil Cooler Connector?
A:
You need to drain the cooling system and remove the transaxle oil cooler hoses from the oil cooler fittings on the radiator and the oil cooler fitting from the radiator.
Q: How do you install the Oil Pan?
A:
You need to install the oil pan gasket, the oil pan, and the oil pan bolts, fill the transaxle with DEXTRON(R) III, place the gear selector in the Park position, start the engine, run the engine at a slow idle, adjust the fluid level and inspect for leaks.
