Q: How do you remove the Thermostat Bypass Pipes?
A:
You need to drain the cooling system, remove the air cleaner intake duct, the LH engine mount strut, and the spark plug wires from the left bank, use the J 38185 to reposition the hose clamp from the water outlet housing, remove the upper radiator inlet hose from the water outlet housing, the heater outlet hose from the thermostat bypass pipe and the throttle body inlet and outlet hoses from the thermostat bypass pipe. Remove the thermostat bypass pipe nut, use the J 38185 to reposition the hose clamp from the thermostat bypass pipe, and remove the thermostat bypass pipe hose from the pipe, the thermostat bypass pipe bolt, and the thermostat bypass pipe.

Q: How do you install the Thermostat Bypass Pipes?
A:
You need to install the thermostat bypass pipe, the thermostat bypass pipe bolt, and the thermostat bypass hose to the pipe, use the J 38185 to reposition and install the hose clamp to the thermostat bypass pipe, install the thermostat bypass pipe nut, the heater outlet hose to the thermostat bypass pipe, the throttle body inlet and outlet hoses to the thermostat bypass pipe and the radiator inlet hose to the water outlet housing, use the J 38185 to reposition and install the hose clamp to the water outlet housing, the spark plug wires to the left bank, the LH engine mount strut and the air cleaner intake duct and fill the cooling system.
