You need to position the armrest base on the seat cushion frame, install rear bolts to the front seat armrest base, the front bolts to the armrest base and the push-in retainers to the armrest bracket cover, center the pivot bolts in the bracket cover opening, use a large coin to screw in the pivot bolt caps onto the cover, press in on the caps to seat them onto the pivot bolt heads, position the cover on the armrest base, install the push-in retainers and inspect the armrest for proper operation.

A:
You need to use J 38778 to remove the push-in retainers from the front seat armrest base cover, remove the front seat armrest base cover from the armrest, use J 38778 to remove the push-in retainers from the armrest bracket cover, and position a flat-bladed tool behind the armrest bracket plastic cover and pry the cover off of the bracket. From inside the cover, you can push out the pivot bolt cap to disengage the cap from the cover. Then you can remove the pivot bolt cap, pivot the bracket cover forward and remove the rear bolts from the armrest base and the bracket cover rearward and remove the front bolts from the armrest base and remove the armrest from the seat cushion frame.
