Athreaded design is used with the E-85 5.3L (VIN Z-RPO L59) engine. A 1/4 turn design is used with all other gas engines. The 1/4 turn design has a shorter tether strap and will not allow the customer to drape the Fuel Cap over the hook on the filler door.
