FAQ for Wheel Hub Bolt Repair

Q: What should be noticed when you correct the condition that the plastic wheel nut covers are missing and/or loose?
A:
You mustn't use a silicone-based adhesive or apply the Permatex (R) around the threads in a circular pattern. You can apply a single bead across the threads approximately 10 mm (0.4 in) in length, 5 mm (0.2 in) in height, and 5 mm (0.2 in) in width.
