You need to clean the interior and exterior of the master cylinder, the secondary piston, and the return spring. Then you can dry the master cylinder and the individual components, lubricate the master cylinder bore, the secondary piston, the return spring, and the individual overhaul components, and assemble the seal, the retainer, and the new secondary seal. Then you can install the lubricated return spring, the secondary piston assembly, and the lubricated and new primary piston assembly. After that, you need to depress the primary piston and install the new piston retainer. Then you can install the master cylinder reservoir, the reservoir cap, the diaphragm, and the master cylinder.
