Q: How do you install the oil pressure sensor?
A:
You need to apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 or equivalent to the threads of the engine oil pressure sensor fitting, install the engine oil pressure sensor fitting, and rotate the engine oil pressure sensor fitting clockwise to the proper position, 50° from the centerline. Then install the oil pressure gauge sensor, hold the oil pressure gauge sensor fitting with a wrench to prevent it from turning, and install the electrical connector.
