About Yugo GVL
The Yugo GVL is a derivative of the Yugo vehicles. Five Yugo models were sold in the United States during the 1987 model year, including the GVL. At that year, the GVL had minor trim and interior upgrades. By 1990, the GVL with the 1,100-cc engine and four-speed manual transmission was replaced by other models. The GVL was a slow, low-grip, and high-intensity car. The 52.9 mph result may sound bad, but from the driver's seat, it was a very fast 52.9 mph.
