About Saturn SC
The Saturn SC is a classic subcompact coupe manufactured by Saturn Corporation (General Motors). It was assembled at Spring Hill Manufacturing, Tennessee, United States. Three generations have been produced. Its model years range from 1991 to 2002. As for the dimensions, the wheelbase of car is offered at 102.4 in (2,601mm). It measures 180.5 in (4,585 mm) in length, 68.2 in (1,732 mm) in width and 53 in (1,346 mm) in height.
The vehicle has built itself a good reputation thanks to its relatively high performance, solid parts, and equipment. The coupes are powered by the same two engines as other S-Series vehicles: 1.9 L L24 I4 and LL0 DOHC I4 engine. The SC1 coupe uses a 100-hp, 1.9 L single-overhead-camshaft four-cylinder. And the SC2 is equipped with a dual-overhead-camshaft version rated at 124 hp. Both engines are mated to either a five-speed manual or an optional four-speed automatic transmission. Like the S series sedans and station wagons, SC coupes adopt the front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout.

When it comes to the interior, the Saturn SC originally came in only one trim level: the SC. A new SC1 trim level was introduced in the 1993 model year. At the same time, the original base SC was renamed the SC2. Two-tone black/gray leather is optional for SC2 models. In 2000, the interior adds a new instrument cluster, center console, and audio and climate controls. Different from the previous ones, the horn is placed on the steering-wheel hub, and cruise control buttons are on the hub.
The Saturn SC has long been praised for its refined classic parts and smart automotive design. All the classic parts for the SC have gone through a variety of upgrades throughout the years. It is exactly these continuous efforts that made the SC model competitive in the auto industry back then.
