About Saturn Astra

The German car company makes the Saturn Astra, which is a compact or small family car. The first Saturn Astra was launched in 2007 and replaced the Saturn Ion. It is a three-door, five-door, five-seater compact with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine. In America, the Opel Astra had the same exterior as its German counterparts, with the only difference being that Saturn Astra models had much more pronounced bumpers. The interior of the car was equipped with a large number of parts. The standard version was equipped with the StabiliTrak system. Saturn's engine was economical and efficient, with fuel consumption of 33 km/h on the highway and 26 km/h in town and on the freeway.
After making its premiere at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show, the brand began selling the Astra across North America, including in both the United States and Canada. On January 2, 2008, sales started with just one engine option. And the vehicle was available in hatchback body types with either three or five doors. It was a gasoline motor with variable valve technology that had a 1.8L U18XER inline-4 cylinder configuration and produced 138 horsepower. The model also includes parts such as either a manual gearbox with five speeds or an automated transmission with four speeds. The Astra delivered an outstanding performance.
