The Porsche Cayenne is manufactured and marketed by the German automobile manufacturer Porsche. It is the name of a series of mid-size luxury crossover SUVs. The production started in 2002 and lasts till nowadays. The model is the first V8-engined vehicle that is produced by the company since 1995. It is the company's first off-road variant automobile since the Super and Junior tractor models. The Porsche Cayenne is also the first Porsche vehicle with 4 doors. The first generation of the Porsche Cayenne was initially offered as the Cayenne S and the Cayenne Turbo. The powering system of the two models was given a 4.5L V8 and the turbo variant. The standard V8 could produce 340 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. It allowed the automobile to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h within 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 241 km/h. The turbo variant of the engine parts could provide 450 horsepower. The Porsche Cayenne had a small upgrade for its performance in 2004 as a 3.2L base V6 was available.
