About Porsche Boxster
The Porsche Boxster is a 2-door roadster manufactured and marketed by the German automobile manufacturer. The model has a history since 1996 and has 4 generations now. It has a mid-engine layout and two seats. The Porsche Boxster was the company's first road vehicle to be designed as a roaster from the very beginning of 914. It was the company's biggest volume seller since its introduction to the public until the appearance of the Cayenne sport utility vehicle. Production lines were originally only in Stuttgart, Zuffenhausen, Germany. The assembly plants for the Porsche Boxster increased in 1997 as the Valmet came into collaboration and provided plants in Uusikaupunki, Finland. The Finnish lines were put out in 2011 and production working added Osnabruck, Germany to the map in 2012.
The first generation of the Porsche Boxster was released in 1996. It was also known as the 986 which was a heavy update of the 944. It was also seen as the successor of the 928 models. The Porsche Boxster shared many parts and accessories with the 996 models that were released to the market later. The sharing design parts and accessories included the bonnet, front wings, engine architecture, and headlights. It was given a 2.5L flat 6-cylinder for the powering system. The 6-cylinder powertrain was the company's first water-cooled non-front engine. The use of the mid-engine layout enabled a lower center of gravity, neutral handling, and weight distribution which was almost perfect. A facelift for its performance was given in 2000 as its base level model was given a new 2.7L one. A variant in the name of the Boxster S was also introduced in the same year. This variant was given a 3.2L one. The original Porsche Boxster and the variant S version were both upgraded in 2003 for the exterior and interior design parts and accessories.

The interior was revised for better quality with parts and accessories including a more circular theme for the instrument cluster and cooling vents. The engine parts were lifted to a 2.7L flat 6-cylinder boxer engine that could produce 236 horsepower. The Boxster S was able to receive a 3.2L one that could offer 276 horsepower.
